Sempre holds the private things two people keep together. This page says exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it — no legal padding, no vague language.

The short version

  • We don’t run ads and we don’t sell data. There is no ad SDK in this app.
  • Only the two people in a shared space can see what’s in it. Not us, not anyone else.
  • You can export everything you’ve made, any time, from Profile → Export everything.
  • You can delete your account, any time, from Profile → Delete account. It’s permanent.

What we collect

Account: your email address and a password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). We never see or store your password in plain text.

Content you add: photos, the memory titles, dates, locations, and notes you write, the important dates you track, the goals you set, and the text of time capsules you seal. This is the entire product — it’s why the app exists.

Nothing else, right now. We don’t currently collect location data, contacts, or device identifiers beyond what’s needed to keep you signed in.

Where it lives

Everything is stored with Supabase, on servers protected by row-level security rules enforced by the database itself — not just checked by the app. Photos live in a private storage bucket only your shared space can read. A sealed time capsule’s text is stored separately from its metadata and is technically unreadable by anyone, including us, until the date you chose arrives.

Who can see it

Only the two people paired into a shared space. There is no public feed, no discovery, no way for a stranger to find or browse anyone’s content. If you share a memory or a milestone card outside the app, that’s a deliberate action you take — an image you choose to send, not something Sempre posts on your behalf.

What we don't do

  • We don’t sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.
  • We don’t run advertising, and no ad network has access to this app.
  • We don’t use your photos or private content to train any AI model.

If your relationship ends

Deleting your account removes you from the shared space. If your partner is still there, they keep everything you made together — the photos, the dates, the capsules — it just stops being credited to you. If you were the only one left, the whole space and everything in it is deleted along with your account. Either way, nothing is held hostage.

Analytics

We may use basic, privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) to understand which features are used — for example, that a memory was added, not what it says. Content you write is never sent to an analytics provider.

Payments

On the web, subscriptions are billed through Stripe. In the mobile apps, they’re billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Either way we never see or store your card details — those go straight to the payment processor, not to us.

Stripe receives your email address and the fact that you subscribed, which is what it needs to bill you and let you manage the subscription. It never receives anything you’ve put inside Sempre.

Children

Sempre is not directed at or intended for anyone under 16.

Contact

Questions, deletion requests, anything — email privacy@sempre.website. We respond ourselves; there’s no support queue yet.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the app before it takes effect, not bury it in a version-history diff.
